• What: The ultimate trick-or-treat candy haul weigh-in competition
• When: Halloween, Saturday, October 31, 2026
• Where: Woodbridge Village Center, Irvine (Meet near Yogurt Land)
• Who: Amadeus’s classmates & siblings (Every child must be accompanied by their parent—no drop-offs!)

Gameplan

• 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Annual Boofest (not yet confirmed) at Woodbridge Village Center (Optional)
• 6:00 PM: Meet up near Yogurt Land (○Glow stick wrist bands provided)
• 6:20 PM: Start trick-or-treating in the surrounding neighborhood at your own pace
• 8:00 PM: Meet back at Woodbridge Village Center
• 8:10 PM: Candy Weigh-in
• 8:30 PM: Halloween Dancing to the classics (Thriller, Nightmare Before Christmas, Monster Mash, Ghostbusters etc.)
• 10:00 PM: End

* Note: Food/drink is not provided, but nearby options in the plaza open until 10:00 PM include Pizza Press, Yogurt Land, and Cha for Tea. Also, Sessions West Coast Deli (9pm) and dPot (11pm).

Competition Rules

• Honor System: Total honesty is expected from all participants.
• Official Bags: Kids will be given a clear plastic bag to transfer their candy haul for the weigh-in.
• No Pooling hauls: Combining candy hauls with siblings or friends is strictly forbidden.
• No Wheels, Just Heels: Skateboards, scooters, and bikes are strictly forbidden. To keep the competition fair, all crusaders must conquer the neighborhood on foot, following ancient trick-or-treating tradition. Wheel usage will result in immediate disqualification from the weigh-in!

The Spoils

• First Prize: Gift card (Mystery amount!)
• Second Prize: Gift card (Mystery amount!)
• Third Prize: Gift card (Mystery amount!)
• All Kids: Glow sticks and spooky stickers
